Student Teaching/Internship
PACT students may not Student Teach during their first semester of coursework. The University Field Supervisor will provide information about Student Teaching to eligible students each semester at scheduled Information meetings. Deadlines for Student Teaching registrations are March 15 for the following Fall semester placement, and October 15 for the following Spring semester placement.
In order to Student Teach or Intern, all provisional deficiencies must be cleared. Provisions are situations that caused a student to be accepted on a restricted basis and may include such items as a required Speech, P.E., or fine arts course, or a missing official transcript.
It is the student's responsibility to review the material in the handbooks prior to contacting the Field Supervisor.
